We require a Mechanical Technician Apprentice to join a team of skilled engineers involved in the manufacture, assembly, test and installation of industrial equipment.
The successful candidates will work towards gaining experience of using lathes, milling machines etc, and an understanding of, and the ability to work with the relevant Health & Safety legislation. Reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics and using measuring equipment is vital with the candidate required to manufacture and assembly to issued documentation.
The training will be towards NVQ Level 3 with the possibility to proceed to HNC Manufacturing Engineering.
We operate a fully integrated IT network and would expect applicants to be IT literate.
